Pixar Fest is a free festival running at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park where the wonder of Pixar is celebrated with food, entertainment, fun, and more! We were lucky enough to attend Pixar Fest during the opening week and were blown away by the offerings we experienced! As official UP lovers (most of Pixar too), it was so exciting to see the talking DUG meet and greet, Ember and Wade and so much more! That’s why we’re going to share with you why we love Pixar Fest and all of the best things to do if you visit.

What Characters Can I Meet at Pixar Fest?

Talking DUG

You can meet talking Dug on the Redwood Trail by Grizzly River Run in DCA. We got to meet him and learn how to shake with a super wholesome meet and greet with our favorite dog! He is free-roaming so keep that in mind when you try and find him.

Ember and Wade (Elemental)

Ember and Wade will be found in the Fantasy Theater, near Sleeping Beauty Castle where characters will be rotating in and out from various Pixar Films.

Mr. & Mrs. Incredible, Edna Mode, Frozone (The Incredibles)

Incredibles characters can be found in DCA and Disneyland parks. You can find them both on Pixar Pier (DCA) as free-roaming characters or at the Pixar Pals Playtime Party (Disneyland). Head to Incredibles Park near Incredicoaster if you’d like to meet them in DCA!

Woody, Jessie, Bo Peep and Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story)

If you’re looking for Toy Story, head to the Toy Story Boardwalk where you can meet all of your favorite toy pals from the films.

Joy & Sadness (Inside Out)

Joy and Sadness are meeting on Pixar Pier in the Pixar Promenade in Disney California Adventure Park. Toy Story characters tend to make their way over to the Pixar Promenade too, so keep your eyes peeled for Woody and Bo.

You’ll hear Pixar classics and see projections from just about every single Pixar movie, including Turning Red this year, which was new!

Club Pixar at Hollywood Backlot

Club Pixar is the place to go if you’ve got kiddos needing a midday break to play games and destress. Head into Hollywood Land in DCA toward the Monsters Inc ride to find Club Pixar.
