Pride Nite at Disneyland
Disneyland has been offering After Hours events for years now, with certain themes and things to celebrate throughout the night. Last year, Disneyland started offering two nights of Pride Nite and we were lucky to attend one of them even though tickets quickly sold out. We will also be attending this year because of how much fun we had celebrating the queerness in our company!
Pride Nite is all about celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community with Pride Parades, character costumes, dances, and more. We love this event because it is safe. Unfortunately, that is the world we live in, and we love that there is security and a completely safe space to live freely. Tickets do start at $159, though, which is a steep price tag.
Pride Nite Highlights:
- Pride Nite Fireworks – WELCOME! – A specially Prideful fireworks display with a welcome from Walt
- Pride Cavalcade with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Pluto and Clarabelle in Pride outfits
- Country Line Dancing at the Golden Horseshoe
- Pride Nite Dance Club at the Rivers of America
- Ohana Dance Party with Stitch in Tomorrowland with a live DJ
- Pride Nite themed food and dining packages
- Special backdrops to snap photos with throughout the night
- Super low waits for rides

Why We Love Pride Nite at Disneyland
Do you ever just imagine a space that has a really fun vibe with people just like you? That’s what Pride Nite was like for us. We loved that we could ride rides, dance, sing, and generally have a great time with our peers. This event is held in accessible space that offers security, which makes it safe and takes the pressure off of any worry!
You can also get into Disneyland as early as 6 PM, which means a little extra for how much you pay for the ticket. The characters and performers also seemed excited to participate in this new After Hours, so we hope it’s here to stay.
