Jump in, power up, and play on! It’s time to leap into Super Nintendo World, coming to the brand new theme park in 2025, Epic Universe. Universal has just announced more details on the immersive new land “Super Nintendo World” which will be one of five worlds to discover in Epic Universe. Super Nintendo World first debuted in Japan, followed by Hollywood (which we got to visit) now it is finally coming to Orlando! Super Nintendo World Orlando Epic Universe
Get ready to power up at Super Nintendo World Orlando! You will be transported through the warp pipe into your very own Nintendo experience. One of 5 worlds at Epic Universe, Super Nintendo World will be the most colorful yet!
Super Nintendo Orlando need to know details:
- 2 Lands
- Donkey Kong Country – a lush, tropical landscape from the video game series, complete with tall trees, waterfalls, landmarks such as The Golden Temple and more.
- Mushroom Kingdom – the iconic Peach Castle and Mt. Beanpole with Piranha Plants, Goombas and more
- 3 new rides –
- Mario Kart Bowser’s Challenge – Jump in a Kart and race your friends, collect coins and have an all around blast on this (like we did when we visited Super Nintendo Hollywood!)
- Yoshi’s Adventure – Slow moving omnimover to show you around the Mushroom Kingdom on a Yoshi’s back
- Donkey Kong Mine Kart Madness – thrilling family coaster with tech that makes it look like you’re jumping over holes in the track
- Power Up Band Challenges – Play through different mini-games in the Mushroom Kingdom and earn digital keys to unlock Bowser Jr. Showdown, the ultimate minigame. We were able to unlock Bowser Jr. Showdown in Hollywood and you don’t want to miss!
- Characters – Meet Toad, Peach, Mario and Luigi in designated areas. Toad is so cute, we can confirm.
- Toadstool Cafe – Get the Princess Peach cupcake made by Toad and his little friends in this highly recommended restaurant.
- Yoshi’s Snack Island and Turbo Boost Treats: Guests can also pick up delicious treats, snacks and beverages at these walk-up dining locations.
- Extra Nintendo Snacks and Merchandise – There will be shops and stands with Nintendo treats and merch for everyone

We are very excited to learn that Super Nintendo World will feature 3 attractions! We love Nintendo World Hollywood but having these 2 extra attractions in Orlando will make the Nintendo World experience that much better.

Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge – An interactive dark ride that combines real physical sets, screens, and augmented reality visors. Riders will race through Mario Kart courses and collect coins throughout the ride.
- Minimum Height: 40 inches (102 centimeters)
Yoshi’s Adventure – This family-friendly omnimover ride takes riders on a scenic tour of the Mushroom Kingdom. Riders will also need to press buttons throughout the ride to win and complete a task for Captain Toad
- Minimum Height: 36 inches (92 centimeters) Children under 48 inches will need supervisor
Donkey Kong: Mine Cart Madness – A roller coaster that will feature indoor and outdoor segments, where the runaway mine cart will appear to jump over gaps in the track! Riders will encounter multiple characters from the Donkey Kong video game series
- Minimum Height: 36 inches (92 centimeters) Children under 48 inches will need supervisor
Power-Up Games – Power-Up Bands elevate your experience from simply riding attractions to becoming an interactive part of the park. These wearable devices let you collect digital coins and keys throughout the land by participating in fun challenges like punching Goombas or defeating Koopa Troopas. By tapping your band, you can track your score on the Mario Kart ride and even unlock a final showdown with Bowser Jr.! With the band, every area of Super Nintendo World becomes a game to play.

Universal Super Nintendo World Orlando Dining & Shops
Fuel up with some Mario-themed treats in Super Nintendo World!
Toadstool Cafe – This will be the main dining location in Super Nintendo World. It will be very similar to Hollywood’s Toadstool Cafe. You can get burgers, salads, fries, desserts, and more – but most importantly themed around Nintendo classics and characters. We loved Toadstool in Hollywood and nearly ate the whole menu.
There will also be a few snack stands in Super Nintendo World, one being Yoshi Snack Island, which has had incredible snacks in the Japanese version and Turbo Boost Treats which will have themed drinks and snacks too. We cannot wait to see what these new food booths will bring to the land.
There will also be a tropical themed menu coming to Donkey Kong Country, but those details have yet to be released.
• 1-UP Factory and Mario Motors: Guests can shop for souvenirs, apparel, toys and more inspired by their favorite Super Mario characters and adventures within these retail locations
