Are you hungry for Pixar Fest Food? We definitely were when we visited, as we tried a lot of offerings for this Disneyland Festival this year! So, this guide is all about the food at Pixar Fest, so keep reading.

Disneyland Pixar Fest Food

We’ve been to Pixar Fest a handful of times, mostly to get through both parks and the booths for all the delicious food! But, we made a huge dent on all the delicious treats and now have our best recommendations for you! So, make sure to stop by before August 4th to get all of the Pixar-themed fare you’re craving.

Best of Pixar Fest:

  • “Smoked Fire Wood” BBQ-spiced IMPOSSIBLE Chicken with hot mustard sauce, pickles and charred onions
  • Gusteau Macaron: Crème brûlée mousse with caramel center
  • BBQ Potato Dog inspired by “Toy Story”: Smoked sausage, BBQ pulled pork, coleslaw, fried onions, and green onions served in a baked potato
  • Shake 2319 inspired by “Monsters, Inc.”: Vanilla, orange, guava and pineapple shake with shaved coconut, whipped topping, and an orange cone

Pixar Fest this year felt super fun and vibrant, especially with some of these newer food options. The Gusteau Macaron was very delicious, which Disneyland macarons always being the best quality! The BBQ Potato Dog was also surprisingly delicious and very filling for a theme park meal.

If you’re looking for a plant-based option, we would recommend the BBQ-spiced imposible chicken, as it had a ton of flavor and was a great bite. For dessert, you have to get the 2319 shake. It wasn’t too sweet, super flavorful and we loved how it was inspired by Monster’s Inc.

A huge complaint is the lack of gluten-free options for those wanting to try Pixar Fest foods. There were no foods specifically labeled as gluten-free, and for most of the items you would have to check with a chef to make sure there is not gluten in them. That is frustrating for how many items are offered.
