We’ve used the Sip and Savor Pass several times now at Disney California Adventure festivals, and we’re here to tell you that it is worth it. Whether you’re planning on going to the Lunar New Year Festival or Food and Wine Festival, the Sip and Savor is a way to save you a couple of bucks. That is especially true if you’re a Magic Key holder with the discount.

Is the Sip and Savor Worth It?
Yes, the DCA Sip and Savor Pass is worth it, and if you’re a Magic Key holder you HAVE to get the Sip and Savor. Sip and Savor Passes can come as an 8-item pass or a 4-item pass, which is perfect if you have a group (we shared 8 items between two people). Most items at DCA Festival booths are priced between $7 – $10, which individually bought can be upwards of $80! As a Magic Key holder, we were able to get our pass for $56. If you are not a Magic Key holder, your Disneyland Sip and Savor pass is $61. That averages to about $7.63 per item.
The best part is that they don’t expire, therefore you can spread out your visits and use your pass at your leisure! The Sip and Savor Pass will not be worth it to you if you’re looking to sample alcohol. Unfortunately, only non-alcoholic drinks are included with the DCA Sip and Savor Pass.

The best way to use your Sip and Savor Pass to get the most value is to purchase the more expensive items. Generally, each food and non-alcoholic drink will cost $7-8. Let’s break down the cost of the Sip and Savor pass to see if it’s worth it.
- The 8-tab Sip and Savor Pass (at full price) costs $61 – that’s $7.63 per item
- If you purchase food/non-alcoholic items that cost $7.64 or more, you will be saving money with the pass.
- Overall, since most items cost $7-8 you will be saving on average $3-5 with the Sip and Savor Pass
Magic Key Holders save even more as their pass costs $56, ultimately saving a few more dollars.

- Carnitas-style Pork Belly with esquites corn mac salad featuring Tajín Habanero – $9.00

- Mickey-shaped Macaron made with SNICKERS bar pieces: Chocolate Mickey-shaped macaron filled with caramel ganache and made with SNICKERS bar pieces – $7.75
- Frozen Old Fashioned: Non-alcoholic bourbon-flavored ice cream, bitters crema, orange zest glaze, and cherry spheres – $7.00
- Cheeseburger Bao with Thousand Island dressing, grilled onions, pickle, and tomato relish – $8.50
- Cannoli Churro: Churro rolled in cinnamon-sugar topped with cannoli cream, chocolate chips, and puff pastry – $7.25
- Huckleberry-Citrus Cooler – Black Tea, Huckleberry & Agave Syrups, Grapefruit Soda, Lemon & Orange Juices, garnished with an Orange Wedge – $7.00
- Impossible Chicken Parm Bites – with Tomato and Cheese Sauces and Grated Parmesan – $8.50
