Finding how to make Harry Potter Butterbeer without alcohol is pretty easy. Given that this drink is based off the Harry Potter series where a bunch of kids can kick back with a nice butterbeer, these drinks are non-alcoholic!

What is an Easy Butter Beer Recipe?

If you’re no pro on cooking, mixing, or just following any recipes at all, this one will do the trick. This may not be the Wizarding World Universal butterbeer recipe, but it’s still sweet and delightful, and only uses three ingredients!
First, you must chill the glasses in a freezer for about 20 minutes. Next, mix 1 quart of vanilla ice cream, 1/4 cup of butterscotch syrup, and 32 oz of cream soda in a blender until mixed well together. Split the drink between the frosted glasses. If you want extra sweetness, top with whipped cream and more butterscotch syrup.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Universal Studios Recipe for Butterbeer

This recipe is so similar to the Universal Studios recipe for butterbeer due to some hints that were found from its very own creators. You just might feel like you stole the Universal Studios Orlando butterbeer recipe (unless you want to pay tons of galleons for it).
Combine 1 cup of marshmallow crème with 1 1/3 cups of water in a medium bowl and microwave it on high for 30 seconds. Stir until the marshmallow crème dissolves, then cook uncovered in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Once cooled, add 1 envelope of Dream Whip Whipped Topping Mix then mix with a blender for 30 seconds. Add 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and 1/8 teaspoon of salt, then mix. Add 1/2 teaspoon plus 1/4 teaspoon butter flavoring, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon of caramel extract or flavoring. Pour a can of cream soda into a 12-ounce glass or mug with room for the foam mixture. Spoon the mixture on top of each drink.
Talk about a magical , and “real,” butterbeer recipe.

How to Make Harry Potter Butterbeer Recipe?

This is a non alcoholic butterbeer recipe the kids and adults will love, and was created from Food Network. A closer version to the Universal Studios butterbeer recipe, it’s a bit more complicated, but the end result is marvelous, and can be served hot or cold.
Combine 1/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk with the 1/4 cup of butterscotch topping and 2 tablespoons of room temperature whipped butter in a glass/heatproof measuring cup. Heat it up in a microwave for 1 minutes, then stir until butter has melted into the mixture. Separately, heat 1 1/2 cups of vanilla cream soda in another measuring cup for 1 1/2 minutes. Divide the butterscotch mixture between 2 mugs, then fill the mugs with the heated cream soda and stir.

Butterscotch Beer Harry Potter Recipe

This one uses butterscotch chips, which is a unique take on the recipe for butterbeer at Universal Studios, and uses some original flavors different from the butterbeer Harry Potter World ingredients.
Put a 1/2 cup of butterscotch chips and 1 tablespoon of salted real butter into a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and heat for another 30 seconds. Then add 1/4 cup of Original Coffee Mate Liquid Creamer into the bowl. Continue to microwave in 30-second increments and stir in between until you get a nice consistency. (the chips and butter should be thick, but you should be able to stir it). Heat 10 ounces of cream soda in the microwave for 90 seconds. Take it out and pour the butterscotch mixture into the heated cream soda.

How to make a Butterbeer Recipe for Adults

Now for the adults; a non-alcoholic butterbeer is great for the family to enjoy, but that shouldn’t exempt you from enjoying it with a little extra kick if you desire. We’ve got a little special Universal Orlando butterbeer recipe for you too:

Bourbon Butterbeer

We found a way to make a butterbeer recipe without cream soda or butterscotch, but with alcohol. Although this is not how to make butterbeer like Universal Studios, it’s a boozy twist on the iconic drink.
Combine 1 1/2 ounces of bourbon, 1 ounce of buttered brown sugar simple syrup, 4 ounces of apple cider, 2 ounces of ginger beer, and ice into a large glass and stir.
To make the syrup, combine 1/2 cup of water with 1/2 cup of light brown sugar in a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. When it cools, add the butter extract to the drink.
