Best Disney Magic Kingdom Restaurants 2022

#10 – Casey’s Corner

best restaurants in magic kingdom

Location: Main Street, U.S.A

Price: $ – Lunch and Dinner ($14.99 and under per adult)

Type of cuisine: American-style

Overview: Casey’s Corner is a fan favorite, but we can admit can be very hit or miss. We’ve included it in our Magic Kingdom top restaurants though because when it is good, it’s really good! Casey’s Corner is a very convenient quick service restaurant that serves “ball park” types of food. We love the atmosphere (and Cast members here!) of Casey’s Corner, where it is meant to feel like you are ordering from a busy baseball stadium!

Casey’s Corner serves hot dogs in almost any manner: foot-longs, chili dogs and even plant-based. While there isn’t a lot of seating available, we love being able to grab a quick bite and head to the castle for wonderful views. The unique vibes and tasty stadium style food is why Casey’s Corner is one of the best restaurants at Magic Kingdom.

#9 – The Plaza Restaurant

Location: Main Street, U.S.A

Price: $$ – Lunch ($15-$34.99 per adult), Dinner ($15-$34.99 per adult)

Type of cuisine: American style fare

Overview: The Plaza Restaurant offers table service for lunch and dinner reservations. The Plaza Restaurant’s theme isn’t overwhelmingly impressive, with a more light and bright, parlor style decor. The Plaza Restaurant is one of the best restaurants to eat at Magic Kingdom for the pricing alone. Most of the menu is recognizable American-style items with a more elevated feel. You can find home-style meatloaf, delicious sandwiches and burgers on the menu.

If you plan your day right, The Plaza can be one of the best places to eat dinner at Magic Kingdom. If you’re able to book a reservation later in the evening, you’ll have dinner and a show! This is a great spot to view Cinderella Castle and Disney’s Enchantment nighttime fireworks show.

Best Menu Items: We will always recommend the Banana Split or The Main Street Burger.

#8 – Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

Location: Frontierland

Price: $ – Lunch and Dinner ($14.99 and under)

Type of cuisine: Tex-Mex

Overview: Right in the heart of Frontierland is Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn, a quick service restaurant that serves food like nachos, tacos and rice bowls. We consider Pecos Bill to be one of the best lunch in Magic Kingdom due to the lightness of the food and the price!

For a quick service restaurant, the theming is incredible. You will step into the Old West with beautiful fountains, balconies and plenty of seating. Pecos Bill is a very popular restaurant not only for the food, but it is one of the few places where to eat in Magic Kingdom without a reservation.

Best Menu Items: Pork carnitas rice bowl or the taco trio

#7 – Gaston’s Tavern

Location: Fantasyland, near Be Our Guest Restaurant

Price: $ – Anytime snacks ($14.99 and under)

Type of cuisine: American-style

Overview: Gaston’s Tavern is one of the most unique places to dine in Magic Kingdom, and that’s why we love it! Serving food from the early morning until early evening, we think its a great place to get breakfast at Magic Kingdom at Disney World. Where else can you get a giant, delicious cinnamon roll at Magic Kingdom?

There are not many options for food at Gaston’s Tavern, but it still made our best restaurants at Magic Kingdom list for just how good it is! Stop by and see our favorite villain while sipping on the famous LeFou’s Brew!

Best Menu Items – Always go for the Warm Cinnamon Roll.

#6 – Columbia Harbour House

best restaurants in magic kingdom

Location: Liberty Square, near Haunted Mansion

Price: $ – Lunch and Dinner ($14.99 and under)

Type of cuisine: American-style, seafood

Overview: Columbia Harbour House is a delicious quick service restaurant located in Liberty Square. So, if you’re looking where to eat lunch in Magic Kingdom, Columbia Harbour House is a great place. The food here is good, filling and cheap. It also has affordable seafood options, which many guests love about Columbia Harbour House.

The ambiance and theming of this restaurant is also why Columbia Harbour House is one of the best restaurants in Disney Magic Kingdom. You feel like you’re eating in a seaside tavern, with interesting sculptures and art.

Best Menu Items: Try the Lobster Roll or the Trio Platter with fried shrimp, chicken strips, battered fish and hushpuppies!

#5 – The Crystal Palace

best restaurants in Magic Kingdom

Location: Main Street, U.S.A, near Adventureland

Price: $$$ – Lunch and Dinner ($35 to $59.99 per adult)

Type of cuisine: American-style buffet

Overview: The Crystal Palace is an adorable and whimsical where everyday is Friendship Day with Pooh and his friends. Or, that’s what it has been known for. This popular spot used to have the ever-so-popular Winnie the Pooh and friends character dining. What was once the best breakfast at Magic Kingdom, The Crystal Palace no longer serves the delicious American breakfast buffet and unfortunately has not brought characters back.

Even without characters, the Crystal Palace is still one of the top Magic Kingdom restaurants for many reasons. Mostly because of how wonderful the ambiance is while dining. There are beautiful tall glass windows with sunshine everywhere! This is one of the few buffet restaurant options left in all of Walt Disney World.

Best Menu Items: It is a buffet, so there are many, but the best happen to be the carved prime rib and the country fried chicken!

#4 – Cinderella’s Royal Table

Location: Inside Cinderella Castle

Price: $$$ – Breakfast ($35 to $59.99 per adult) $$$$ Lunch and Dinner (Over $60 per adult)

Type of cuisine: American/Fine dining

Overview: Cinderella’s Royal Table is the place to be if you’re looking to celebrate a very special moment inside the parks. It is the only place that allows you to go inside of Cinderella Castle, which in itself is an amazing experience. Cinderella’s Royal Table is also one of the few table service places where to eat breakfast at Magic Kingdom! The menu is prix fixe for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Typically, this is a character experience where you can meet all of the princesses, including a special meet and greet with Cinderella. That alone made it the best table service in Magic Kingdom! Unfortunately, characters are not back yet, but you are still expected to pay a premium price for the view. The ambiance inside of the restaurant is lacking, but we can promise, there is no place better to view fireworks than inside Cinderella Castle.

Best Menu Items: Magic Carpet Ride Pork or Tenderloin of Beef

#3 – Sleepy Hollow

best magic kingdom restaurants

Location: Liberty Square

Price: $ – Breakfast and Snacks ($14.99 and under for adults)

Type of cuisine: American-style

Overview: It may be shocking that Sleepy Hollow is that far up on our top restaurants in Magic Kingdom list, but it isn’t a fluke. The Sleepy Hollow menu is limited, and there is only a few outdoor tables to dine at, but it is worth it. If you’re a park dropper, it can be hard to find where to eat breakfast at Magic Kingdom. Sleepy Hollow has one of the best breakfast in Magic Kingdom before 11am.

This small restaurant has immaculate views of Cinderella Castle, and never disappoints with any of their food. It is also one of the only places you can grab a Mickey waffle inside of the parks! For that reason, we deem Sleepy Hollow to have some of the best food at Magic Kingdom 2022.

Best Menu Items: Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich, Sweet-and-Spicy-Waffle Sandwich

#2 – Be Our Guest

best magic kingdom restaurants

Location: Fantasyland

Price: $$$$ – Lunch and Dinner (Over $60 per adult)

Type of cuisine: American/French

Overview: Be Our Guest is one of the best sit down dining in Magic Kingdom for many reasons. While the menu is very expensive, we feel as if you cannot get this experience anywhere else. While enjoying your meal, you are seated in one of three beautifully themed dining rooms inside the Beast’s Castle: The West Wing, The Ballroom and The Rose Gallery. Each room is breathtaking with the detail and effort put into the design.

Both lunch and dinner has the same menu, with upscale dining options like pan seared scallops and fillet mignon. The meal at Be Our Guest is also prix fixe, with three courses. We think Be Our Guest is one of the best Magic Kingdom dinners because it is one of the only place you can meet the Beast. He walks around for quick photo-ops, which makes for a special dinner.

This dining experience is a once in a lifetime and that is why Be Our Guest is ranked high for the best places to eat at Disney World Magic Kingdom.

Best Menu Items: French Onion Soup, Herb-salted Pork tenderlion

#1 – Liberty Tree Tavern

Location: Liberty Square

Price: $$$ – Lunch and Dinner ($35 to $59.99 per adult)

Type of cuisine: American family style

Overview: Our number one was a bit shocking, but honestly, the food is so delicious here, it had to be number one. Liberty Tree Tavern has the best food in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, with it’s mouth watering family style meal. If you’re looking for Magic Kingdom places to eat for a big family, couples dinner or solo feast, you will not be disappointed.

The theming of this restaurant is incredible with its 1700’s style wooden walls and Colonial decor, you truly are taken back in time. The amount of food you can get at this restaurant is endless and even better because it is delicious. Liberty Tree is hands down the best sit down restaurant in Magic Kingdom. The Patriot’s Platter has a Thanksgiving dinner theme and delivers on all aspects with the roast turkey, pot roast, oven-roasted pork, mashed potatoes and more! Even the plant-based platter is scrumptious and why we think it is one of the best restaurants Disney World’s Magic Kingdom has to offer.

Best Menu Items: Everything, but especially the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake.
